Happenings in Havasu Lake Havasu City has long been a top tourist destination thanks to its beautiful, sunny weather year round and the unique position of being located in the desert, next to a lake. Lake Havasu has great civic pride and encourages involvement in the community.
Lake Havasu News
October 2008 Housing Stats
Thanks to the lower prices and interest rates, the latest housing stats in Lake Havasu have increased from the same time last year. In October 2008, 94 single-family homes were sold at an average sell price of $210,196. This is up over 25% from October 2007, when 70 single-family homes were sold at an average sell price of $239,294. Vacant land sales remained exactly the same, but the sell price was 19% higher, creating a higher total sales volume. This is the second month in a row that sales were higher than the same time last year. Could this be the beginning of a housing recovery? It's too early to tell. What we do know is that it is still a buyer's market. If you have a decent down payment and good credit, now is the time to invest in real estate.

However, they also know that you want to keep your child safe on the internet at home as well. That is why they have provided the following guidelines published by the Arizona attorney general's office:
